EXECUTIVE CHEF PASCAL T. SWERTS

Born in Belgium, a country of multiple languages and cultures. The Respect for the Products, the Producers, the Customers, and finally the Team is in my blood. I learned that around 11 years old when working as a student in an “Épicerie” in Belgium. My Mentor Alberto from Italy took me on a journey to learn about fresh local and seasonal fruits and vegetables, charcuterie, and cheese while going together to the morning market at 03:30 AM. From that experience I decided to become a Chef, but not any Chef, one that will continue learning all the time.

After my graduation, I learned cooking with several Chefs from the Flanders region and Wallonia region. After learning from my father about his famous stuffed roasted chicken and working in my sister’s restaurant Cameroons’ cuisine. I decided to start traveling and learn more about other countries’ culinary secrets and techniques. In 1991, I started my journey, I moved to the Caribbean and created a seafood restaurant. Thanks to a local entrepreneur, I realized the importance of mixing Belgian recipes with local ingredients. I then decided to focus on the “Fusion” part of cooking. That journey took me to the Caribbean, Middle East, Europe, then back to Belgium to create a restaurant and for the last 20 years in Japan.

In Japan, I worked as a Kitchen Management Trainer, training Japanese Chefs on the international standards and international working environment. I have been involved and managed several Hotels during Restaurant openings.

I then decided to take another challenge, by working for a great international hotel the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. I worked for 8 years with this wonderful hotel at the French Kitchen open-air restaurant, I helped the French Kitchen restaurant improve the breakfast and lunch buffet operation and the guest’s relation. The French kitchen breakfast buffet is known among the best in Tokyo. I continued to learn how to work in a 5-star hotel. My last challenge was to manage one of the Olympics locations, which has been a success amid this difficult time of Covid.

Porsche is not just a car, it’s a dream, a passion, a statement. I will create the culinary experience you have been dreaming of, using local ingredients. Whenever you will see a Porsche you will remember "The 906" in Kisarazu. An experience you would like to share with your loved ones, your friends, your colleagues, with everyone.

This experience comes with a breathtaking view of the handling track, making you want to take a ride in those exceptional Porsche cars.
